JTech Plastics was established in 2004 to provide ongoing manufacturing solutions to customers who recognise the value of keeping their product manufacturing and supply chain within New Zealand. JTech is your one stop shop. Our fully equipped Dunedin based factory and experienced team continue JTech’s commitment to manufacturing straight-up results.

Plastic injection moulding is our speciality, however we offer much more. Product design, prototyping, toolmaking, machining, assembly. JTech provides products and services to a range of well-known businesses, and has carved out a solid reputation in the local area for providing affordable solutions for New Zealand’s more niche manufacturers.

Our years of experience allow us to consult with our clients about the multiple ways a project can be achieved and work closely with them to find a solution tailored specifically for their own needs.

JTech has a fully equipped in house machine shop to complement our wide range of moulding machines. We offer additional machining / assembly services to help our customers receive a true one stop shop service.

From concept through to manufacture, we can help you every step of the way.

Product Design & Development

At JTech we like to know what you want to achieve and work back from there. When designing we keep things simple. We create product designs on our 3D CAD software. With our tool design and toolmaking background we know how to approach designs to avoid unnecessary cost. From there we will assess the manufacturing requirements and make a plan that best suits you, your product and your budget. This may include prototyping or getting straight into production.

Plastic Injection Moulding & Manufacturing

We have a range of moulding machines up to 350 tonne that allow us to manufacture products that vary in size. We cater for both high and low volume production runs. As well as plastic injected moulded parts, you may require other features or parts for your product. We can do that too. We offer machining of non-plastic components to fit with moulded components, post moulding machining, insert moulding, over moulding, printing, quality checks and assembly.
